Although the collage artwork is visuallyappealing, some of the images are a bit confusing. Textual changes areslight; Brontosaurus is now called Apa tosaurus, and some pageshave been combined to streamline the book. Al though the 1981edition already depict ed both men and women and people of diverseethnic backgrounds, it's nice to be greeted by a smiling femalepaleon tologist on the cover of the new edition. There's not muchnew information here, but the packaging is certainly more timelyand appealing.
