作者简介： Mary Ellen Ledbetter was born in Texas City ,Texas,attended Texas Lutheran College,Graduated from Western Michigan University with a B.A.in English and Speech,and earned an M.A.in English from Michigan State University.She has taught in public schools in Michigan and Texas as well as at San Jacinto college in Pasadena,Texas, Ms,Ledbetters,has been an instructor in the Writing Process Workshop for teachers,has been a presenter at TMSA and NCTE,has received Goose Creek IISD'S Board of Trustees'Bell Award for Outstanding Teacher in 1995 and 1997.and is currently a presenter / consultant for the Bureau of Education and Research in Bellevue,Washington.
